Mr. Panagiotis Fytis is a graduate of the Faculty of Science at the University of Patras. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from the University of Durham in the UK. His primary experience lies in his years of service as an Executive, Consultant, and Senior Manager in Greek and Multinational Groups. He has worked in mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and the setup of companies at international and group levels. Mr. Fytis has led and managed several significant projects, including the mergers of companies such as BP Hellas and Mobil Oil Hellas, Egnatia Bank, Marfin Bank, and Laiki Bank, the establishment of the Olympic Air Group, Olympic Handling, and Olympic Engineering, the sale of the Hyper Market chain Veropoulοs Bros (in Greece), the restructuring of Investment Bank of Greece, and its transformation into Optima Bank. Before joining ELTA S.A., he was employed at the Hellenic Development Bank. He is one of the founding members of the tutorial group for the Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management at the Hellenic Management Association (E.E.D.E.).
